The Original Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

Day 16.
Shopping at Walgreen's today I saw these among several other boxes of movie candy priced at 3 for a buck. At the theater these are usually found under the register behind the glass. I love raw cookie dough but eating it out of a box just doesn't seem right but it was time to find out. If these taste like real cookie dough I am going to gain some weight this year.

History: Taste of Nature Inc. based in California was founded in 1992.

Appearance: Small milk chocolate coated bites. When sliced in half its a thin chocolate coating with tan color center.
Aroma: Chocolate has a slightly malted aroma to it.
Texture: Chewy at first but ends with a gritty crunch at the end that actually feels like real raw cookie dough.
Flavor: Tasted like cookie dough but it was off. It had a almost chemical like taste to it. A little too sweet and milky and it almost reminds me of a chocolate cereal. The chocolate coating didn't taste like much.
Calories: 200 cal/package. 4 oz. Three servings per container.

Rating: D

Comments: Interesting idea but it didn't work. Tastes artificial but then again it is artificial! At least you can't catch Salmonella from the raw eggs!
