Today I consumed a Green and Black's Organic Toffee. G and B's is well known for their organic and fair trade cocoa practice so I was anxious to try their chocolate which is labeled as having a minimum cocoa content is 34%.
Green and Black was founded in 1991 and has been owned by Cadbury since 2005. GO! Cadbury! (3)
Appearance: Great looking dark brown bar scored into rectangles in rows of 10 by 3.
Aroma: Nice strong chocolate aroma
Texture: Nice snap. Texture was smooth and creamy with a little crunch with the toffee bits.
Flavor: Slightly strong and lightly bitter chocolate with a nice sweetness and buttery flavor in the small toffee bits. I am not usually a fan of strong or bitter chocolate but this bar had a great flavor. Nice tasting chocolate even though its not pure milk chocolate.
Calories: 630 cal/package. 2.5 servings. 3.5 oz.

Comments: This bar was made in Italy and is a fine "Italian" chocolate made by a fine "British" company. Plus as an added bonus its Organic. Excellent, I will definitely have to try Green and Black's other products!
